We are currently recruiting Sales Support personnel to join our London based client, a well renowned and Established IT reseller. In this position your day to day task will be hugely varied, you will be supporting the Account Director in assisting with the management, administration and development of key account and identifying new business opportunities. Purpose of Role & Responsibilities include:

· Handling enquiries and queries from clients as directed by Account Director

· Account administration and information reporting on accounts

· Taking a genuine interest in the customers business and a responsibility for their continued spending levels and growth

· Developing relationships with key vendors, partners and existing clients to identify further opportunities

· Liaise with internal and departments, ensuring excellence in actions and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction

· Develop and maintain portfolio product knowledge as defined by the Account Director

· Work with the Account Director and other supports to develop and produce reporting for major clients

· Identify training, service and re-sourcing opportunities

· Liaise with internal departments, including customer service, credit and purchasing

· Understanding business capabilities by developing knowledge

· Work with the Account Director and other supports to develop and produce reporting for major client

· Working with the Account Director and other supports (and any identified Partner and/or vendor) on new name acquisition programmes as required

· To take a proactive sales role as required by the Account Director

· Productions of quotations in response to client enquiries

· Understand Vendor promotions and special bid process

· Understand deal registration process

· Understand channel rules of engagement.

· Ability to change and prioritise tasks constantly throughout the day/week/month

· Provide cover for Back Order report chasing for the Team





Skills and Experience required:

· Demonstrable understanding on the workings of large accounts

· Demonstrable basic sales awareness

· Proactively develop knowledge of the businesses products

· Experience on how to interface with vendors

· Self starter and ability to work on own initiative

· Ability to build a rapport with clients, partners

· Develop positive working relationships with internal and external customers

· Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

· Drive and ambition

· Tenacity/persistence

· Demonstrated attention to detail

· Natural business acumen and ability to assimilate numbers/financials quickly

· Competent on Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint

· Ambitious to grow successful career within the IT Sector

· Commercially minded

· Previous IT Sales/Support experience is an essential requirement
