Our growing US Law Firm client is currently looking for an IT Helpdesk Support Analyst to join their IT team on a permanent basis. The key duties are providing general problem solving and assistance on diverse software applications and hardware systems, providing first and second line technical assistance regarding errors, problems, or questions about applications, and escalating where appropriate to maintain high standards of support, providing technical support for a variety of client/server applications: MS Windows 7 & 10, MS Office 2010 & 2016, VMWare VDI, Exchange/Outlook 2010, SCCM Remote Tool, iManage, InterAction, legal departmental applications, Cisco IPT, mobile smart-phones, tablets other mobile devices, providing support for remote users – VMWare VDI, Web applications and Cisco VPN, supporting the IT Dept to ensures compliance with security, disaster recovery and risk management policies and processes including, data backup, security, personal data protection, disaster recovery, outage communications and incident response policies/procedures, Installing and maintaining desktops, laptops, smart phones, tablets, printers, and all other peripherals, recognising, troubleshooting, and diagnosing computer, Cisco IP phone, printer, software, and network connectivity problems, extensive liaison with IT Manager, office department heads and firm-wide IT Personnel, providing support for an environment that is constantly adapting and improving to provide high levels of service and efficiency, setup and support conferences, and audio/video conferencing, maintaining existing desktop images utilising internal deployment procedures, additional duties may be assigned and requirements may vary from time to time. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and previous experience in IT Support within a law firm environment.
