Our well known and prestigious US law firm client is currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Marketing department, the main focus of the role is to Facilitate client development efforts through marketing project/program development and implementation. The main duties for this role are assisting CMO and Practice Group Leaders with development and implementation of practice group, team, and individual lawyer marketing plans, assisting Partners with annual GSA’s, to include preparation, and monitoring deliverables, facilitating and supporting lawyer and practice-level business development efforts, including presentations, pitches, and proposals and identification of sales and cross-selling opportunities, monitoring industry news/sites/competition and coordinate market research, coordinating planning and execution of client seminars, webinars and conferences, promoting London office practices and developments to other offices through marketing colleagues and internal reporting tools, organising regular associate business development meetings, organising networking events at our offices, working with CMO and DOA in preparing annual London office business development budget, liaising with CMO, Senior Practice Group Business Development Manager’s and DOA in monitoring and managing local business development expenses, providing marketing orientation for new attorneys, driving London office usage of InterAction, helping IA users to understand the importance of CRM and inducing them to share contacts appropriately. Candidates should have at least 3 + years Marketing experience within a professional services environment, experience working within a law firm environment would be beneficial. Candidates should also be highly organised with excellent communication skills at every level of the business.
