The Regional Marketing Leader will oversee marketing for the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Iceland.

Working closely with country, sales, channel and account leaders, this role will be instrumental in driving the success of our diverse and transforming business in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading the development, implementation, execution and measurement of strategic marketing plans, building and managing programs across diverse regions. You will lead a team of country marketers across the Federations and work closely with regional/country leaders, sales (external and inside), customer success, global accounts, and the solutions, services and platform portfolio.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Sub-regional leader, country sales and services leaders to drive marketing plans aligned to sales objectives by country, segment and account
  • Structure the marketing organization in this newly formed geographic unit while integrating acquired companies within the regional construct
  • Manage country marketers to maximize their performance while developing strategic, digital and data-driven marketing standards and team skills
  • Leverage, extend and rationalize global integrated campaigns and programs focused on customer acquisition, retention and expansion based on distinct regional/country needs
  • Adapt sales and marketing messaging for SoftwareONE buyers in region and educate our customers on new products and capabilities
  • Work with regional partners on joint go-to-market motions and pipeline, generate new business opportunities with and through our partners
  • Oversee country collaboration with global portfolio, content, case study, digital, web, demand centre, events and PR teams to create and deliver programs engagement
  • Use learnings from regional programs to input to best practice development across the country marketing team, accounting for regional differences
  • Lead regional reporting, monitor the performance of marketing related campaigns and monitor ROI analysis

What we need to see from you:

  • 7-10 years of B2B technology marketing with experience in multiple marketing disciplines including demand generation/field marketing with proven account based skills
  •  ability to shape marketing strategy, mount ongoing campaigns, and conduct digital marketing and demand generation (essential)
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent required, MBA beneficial
  • Basic knowledge of digital transformation, cloud and/or software solutions (required) with application modernization, critical workloads, data and automation (optional)
  • Work closely with country and sales leaders to develop quarterly campaigns tailored to the immediate needs of local markets and their target accounts
  • Experience managing teams in meeting marketing-driven pipeline goals for new logos, acceleration and customer initiatives
  • Use of data and insights ability to interpret data in order to develop and share account based insights to guide messaging and strategy
  • Experience collaborating with portfolio, content and digital programs team to ensure messaging and digital tactics (web, social, display, email) align with regional ABM strategies
  • Experience with martech tools like Engagio/Demandbase, Salesforce, Marketo and Sendoso
  • Goal focused planning and insight skilled at defining and managing marketing goals (and mapping tactical delivery) to align with sales objectives
  • Collaborative team player with ability to work closely with a distributed sales team and geographically dispersed marketing teams, and across distinct national markets, languages and cultures
  • Outstanding communications and writing skills (complete native English proficiency)
  • Player-coach, willing to roll up your sleeves and execute
  • Availability for domestic and occasionally global travel (estimated 10-15%)
